Village of Montgomery Refuse, Recycling and Yard Waste Collection Program

LRS provides Montgomery residents with services for refuse (garbage), recycling and yard waste. LRS offers many other services for Montgomery residents including electronic waste recycling and disposal, organic food scrap compost service, household hazardous waste, portable restrooms and large, open top construction style containers. We are proud to be a partner in your community!

For more information on the required scheduling collection for specific items or material types, please click on one of the tabs below.

Village of Montgomery residents receive weekly service for garbage, recyclables and seasonal yard waste. All materials must be placed curbside by 6AM on the service day to ensure collection.

Garbage is collected once per week. There is no limit to the amount of regular household garbage that can be placed out for collection on a weekly basis so long as it is properly prepared or placed out in accordance with the requirements for collection.

If you have extra garbage that does not fit into the LRS cart, you may use your own container, so long as it does not exceed 35 gallons, 50 pounds when full and has two handles. We recommend using a container and not placing loose garbage bags to the curb for health and safety reasons. Residents may also rent an additional LRS refuse or recycling bin for a small monthly fee.

LRS provides carts in three different sizes to residents. If you would like to inquire about changing cart sizes, please email Service@LRSRecycles.com or call 844-633-3577 and any of our service representatives would be happy to assist (fees may apply)

LRS Trash Bin Sizes

LRS provides one cart for recycling at no charge for each household. Carts are available in 35, 65 and 95-gallon. Additional carts are available upon request. Contact LRS Customer Service for more information or with questions on recycling.
