America Recycles Day 2021

America Recycles Day 2021

Happy America Recycles Day! Every year on November 15, the United States celebrates America Recycles Day which is dedicated to encouraging Americans to commit to recycling often and properly.

This year you can participate in America Recycles Day by learning more about how you can recycle properly and spreading your knowledge with others. Below are some ways that you can increase your recycling efforts on a day-to-day basis.

Have our recycling guide in a visible place for you and your family.

Our recycling guide is a great tool to use when you have a question on whether something is recyclable or not. Print out as many copies of it to put around your home or office. If you have questions about items that are not on our recycling guide, you can contact us directly and we can help you figure out if it can be recycled or not. Have a recycling bin in every room.

When a recycling bin or cart is easily accessible to everyone no matter where they are, there is a higher chance that they will recycle. This is also an easy way to keep your waste and recyclable materials separate.

Buy recycled products.

When you buy products that are made from recyclable material, you are helping continue the process of recycling. Items made from recycled materials usually take less energy to make and is a great way be more sustainable in your life.

Contact us if you have any recycling or disposal questions.

LRS is always happy to help with any recycling questions that come up. You can reach us through the contact portal on our website, by calling 844.NEED.LRS or through any of our social media platforms.

By incorporating these tips into your life, recycling can be something that you do every day. Taking small steps towards sustainability really makes a difference in preserving the environment, which is the goal of America Recycles Day.

Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter for our America Recycles Today campaign to learn some recycling tips that you can implement in your household.
