Coronavirus Service Alert: Residential Update

LRS number one priority is the safety of our employees, customers and communities we service.  Effective immediately, there will be some changes in the residential trash services due to the public health emergency caused by the coronavirus-19 (COVID-19) pandemic.  

In order to best protect and limit the exposure to our employees and communities we service, we are temporarily suspending collection of the following until further notice:

• Bulk items (any large or loose items that do not fit into trash container)
• Appliances
• Electronic Waste

 The following standard services are NOT changing at this time: 

• St. Charles and Geneva residents who use 20 gallon half refuse bags are allowed to put their bags out as usual. 
• Communities that allow for tied loose garbage bags with a refuse sticker will also be collected as usual.   
• Landscape waste bags will also be collected upon the start of the season. 

These measures are effective in all communities that LRS provides waste service.  We appreciate your support and understanding as we know everyone is working hard to prevent exposure during this pandemic.
