5 Portable Bathroom Benefits

5 Portable Bathroom Benefits

Maybe you have a big barbecue planned or are putting on a huge music festival? Whatever the case may be, you have to be prepared for a large number of people at your event. Part of this accommodation, involves providing bathrooms.

When providing bathrooms at your event, there are essentially two options: permanent bathrooms with built-in plumbing and portable bathrooms. Maybe you’re thinking about using portable bathrooms, but aren’t sure if that is the right solution for your event.

Here are 5 portable bathroom benefits to help you decide.

1. Limit the Length of Lines

There are few things worse than waiting in a long line when having to relieve yourself. Unfortunately, at large events, this is often a scenario that happens a lot.

To shorten lines as much as possible, it is wise to make use of portable bathrooms. It is cheaper to rent out hundreds of portable bathrooms than it is to establish dozens of stationary bathrooms.

Place the portable restrooms in the most densely populated areas of your event, and cut the length of lines down substantially.

2. Accommodate a Variety of Locations

One of the nice things about portable bathrooms is that they can accommodate a variety of different locations. This differs from stationary bathrooms, which are set in one place and do not move.

Let’s say you’re planning a music festival. You can place portable bathrooms next to stages, in the camping area, adjacent to food vendors and wherever else you wish to place them. By doing this, you make the festival much easier for your attendees to navigate.

3. Terrific for Pools

Do you have a pool? If so, you’re likely aware of the fact that pool-day restroom breaks can cause a mess. Getting out of a pool soaking wet and tracking water throughout your house so that you can relieve yourself leaves puddles throughout your home.

To prevent this from happening, you might consider renting out some portable bathrooms. By placing a portable bathroom outside near your pool, you’ll never have to worry about soaked hallway carpets again.

4. Maintenance-free

One of the big perks of using portable bathrooms for your event is that you yourself don’t need to maintain them in any way. Instead, the company which rents them out to you will maintain them, keeping them clean and prepared for use at all times.

This is not a perk you’ll receive when using stationary, established bathrooms. When using such bathrooms, you or someone on your staff will have to take care of all maintenance.

5. Cost-effective

If you’re using a park or fairground which is already inhabited by stationary bathrooms, you won’t have to put any money down in order to accommodate your guests. However, if the spot you’re using doesn’t already have bathrooms established, you’ll save a great deal of money by opting for portable bathrooms over stationary bathrooms.

You can rent out 100 portable bathrooms for the price that you would pay to establish just one, small stationary bathroom facility. In essence, renting out portable bathrooms is a much more cost-effective option.

There are a surprising number of benefits that people can get from renting toilets for their project, party, or location. As the article points out, one of these major benefits is the fact that they are virtually maintenance-free. After all, you do not have to worry about fixing the portable toilet when it breaks down as the rental company will do that for you.

Thanks for going into detail why portable bathrooms can actually be really beneficial. I hadn’t considered that these restrooms could help for pools so that water doesn’t get tracked in the home or building. I’m interested to learn if there could also be portable showers so people can clean themselves after being in the pool.

I am glad that you mentioned a portable bathroom next to the pool area. We have had kids run through the house soaking wet from just coming out of the pool. We will have to consider getting a portable bathroom for the pool during the summer months and for events with the family.

It’s helpful to remember we should plan on several locations for them so we can help keep the event simple and avoid large lines. We’re thinking of hosting an event at a local park for the community, but there aren’t many bathrooms there people could use. Setting up a couple of other locations could help the event stay clean and organized.
