Tuesday-Thursday are the service days in Avon Township. Please contact customer service to confirm your service day. All garbage, recycling and yard waste will be collected between the times of 6AM and 7PM on your collection day. Service times are subject to change.
Residents are allowed to place an unlimited amount of garbage at the curb each week, so long as it’s properly prepared and placed inside the cart or approved refuse container. Please do not place loose plastic grocery bags or paper in the cart, as they tend to fly out of the cart as it’s emptied into the truck.
Resident owned containers may only be used for refuse exceeding the LRS cart capacity. Resident owned containers may not exceed 32 gallons, 50 pounds in weight and must have two handles and a lid.
LRS offers additional garbage and recycle carts for households who frequently generate more waste materials from the home.
LRS provides carts in the 95-gallon size. If you would like to inquire about anything cart related, please email Service@LRSRecycles.com or call 844-NEED-LRS and any of our service representatives would be happy to assist.
LRS provides one cart for recycling at no charge for each household. Carts are available in the 65-gallon size. Additional carts are available upon request to customer service. Contact LRS Customer Service for more information or with questions on recycling.

“Bulk Items” are items that are too large to fit into a cart or can. LRS will collect one bulk item per week at no charge. If a bulk item is deemed hazardous or unacceptable for landfills, that item will not be taken.
