With the March 2016 acquisition of C&D Recycling, LRS now controls and processes over 2.3 million tons of waste material annually, more than any other privately-held company in Illinois. C&D Recycling is one of seven Material Recovery Facilities (MRFs) that LRS operates. This new facility has expanded the LRS workforce, and we now to employ over 720 full-time employees across all locations. LRS, with primary operations in Chicago and its suburbs, is a diversified waste services company providing commercial, residential, recycling and roll-off waste collection and diversion services to more than 24,000 commercial and residential customers.

If a holiday falls on a Saturday, that actual day is the observed holiday. If a holiday falls on a Sunday, then Monday would be the observed day off.

Deerfield, Clarendon Hills, Highland Park, Hinckley, Highwood, Riverwoods, Western Springs, Bannockburn, Wheaton, Shields Township, Lisle Township, Plato Township, Campton Township, Virgil Township, Kaneville Township, Blue Island, Waterman, Golf, Cortland, Des Plaines, Geneva, Lisle, La Grange Park, Elburn, Elmwood Park, DeKalb, Sugar Grove, Worth, Montgomery, Unincorporated Cook, DeKalb, Lake, DuPage, Kane, Will County: residential pickup is behind one day throughout the week of the given holiday.
Skokie, Winnetka, St. Charles, Glencoe: if the holiday falls on a Monday or Tuesday, services will be behind one day (Glencoe, note: if the holiday falls on Thursday/ Friday, services for these two days only are behind one day)
