Waste and Recycling Workers Week

Waste and Recycling Workers Week

Each year, we recognize the week of June 17 as Waste and Recycling Workers week. This week is dedicated to every person who is in the waste and recycling industry, as well as to thank them for their hard work.

LRS truly appreciates all of the men and women who help make the company what it is today. They help keep our communities safe and clean; our neighborhoods would not be the same without them.

LRS strives to show our appreciation for our employees every day and thank them for all of their hard work and dedication to providing safe services to our customers. If you are looking for ways to celebrate, consider the following ideas from the Waste and Recycling Workers week initiative.

  • Download a printable Thank You Card for your garbage workers.
  • Help spread the word about Waste and Recycling Workers Week by changing your social media profile picture to this during the week of June 17.
  • Visit the Waste & Recycling Workers Week Wall of Honor.
  • Utilize some of these creative ideas to celebrate the sanitation workers in your life.

Thank you to all of the waste and recycling workers that help keep our communities healthy. LRS especially thanks all of our employees for everything you all do for our customers and the communities we service. Your efforts do not go unnoticed and are greatly appreciated. During the week of June 17, be sure to thank the sanitation workers in your life!
